To be sure we receive your comment, click on one of the options below the box in which you entered your comment. Then type in the letters that you see in the weird script in the most obvious place - the "word verification" box. THEN CLICK ON "LOG IN AND PUBLISH" - DON'T WORRY ABOUT THE "LOG-IN" PART. You do NOT need to have a Blogger account to leave a comment.
If you wish to comment anonymously, click in the circle to the left of that option. If you want to avoid getting a Blogger account, but want to indicate who you are, add your name and contact info WITHIN your "comment" and then choose the "anonymous" option.

Hi Steve -- I signed up for the March 2 Friday seminar after reading your message of March 1. I probably signed up 2 hours before time. The form message reply that pops up states that a message with login information will be arriving within 3 days.

Your blog here states tat you can sign up for the seminar up to 1 hour beforehand.

So, it would be nice if it's free if the login process could be streamlined a bit more, just do the registration and pass through to the event somehow.

At any rate, maybe the disjunct between your blog message (up to 1 hour before) and the form reply (in the next 3 days) could be rectified.

It would be nice to provide a link to enter FridayLive right after registration.

  4. Hello!
You have some interesting sessions, but could you schedule some of the Friday Live sessions for the mornings? Such a rotation would allow those of us with regular Fri. afternoon commitments to participate. Thank you very much!

A real challenge is providing service to both those college students who are adult developmental/basic skills students and those in college transfer courses. As a reference librarian, are there tips to determining the right level to start teaching how to research the student's topics without talking down or over his/her head?

What do you think?
