Analysis of modes and types of student participation, student learning outcomes and self-reported experience, and patterns of student engagement in time during class, reveal new insights into how teaching and learning work.

If you would like to experiment with the Skies app during the session, you are invited to download it to your ISO device.  This link will provide directions on how to do so.

How do we manage the transitions in our life?  Do we hold on to the trapeze bar too long? When do we let go? How do we manage the time between the trapeze bars? These questions apply especially now in this time of rapid change. Common needs or concerns associated with teaching online for the first time or adding something new to any teaching practice can benefit from Circle of Trust practices, ideas and resources.

The work of Parker J. Palmer and the Center for Courage and Renewal www.couragerenewal.org has guided educators and others to work and live more wholeheartedly. In this session you will experience several aspects of the Circle of Trust(R) approach. You are especially encouraged to use a microphone during this session.  You are welcome to join the early to check your microphone, 1:30 - 1:45 PM ET.

To get the most out of the experience we encourage you to check out the work of Courage & Renewal® including some brief video clips with Parker J. Palmer here: http://www.couragerenewal.org/getting-started/
